Our Vineyards
Situated 600-1500 metres above sea level and approximately three hours drive south west of Brisbane, “The Granite Belt is one of the most exciting wine destinations in the country” Max Allen, The Weekend Australian.
The Granite Belt was formed by an ancient tectonic uplift that forced a significant Granite Mass 820m above sea level. Over time, softer rocks and soils have eroded, leaving a clearly identifiable Granite Plateau. Due to its elevation, this plateau experiences some of Australia’s coldest winters. The sub-zero temperatures cause water that has been absorbed in exposed granite boulders and rocks to freeze and expand, forcing mineral particles into the soil. This annual soil enrichment allows local vineyards and orchards to grow the highest quality produce with unique, rich flavours.

Artistically inspired by the story stones of the Granite Belt region, this exciting colourful, sustainable, vegan friendly collection showcases the delicious vibrant flavours of emerging European varieties Vermentino, Fiano, Lagrein, Nebbiolo and Montepulciano.
Sirromet
Crafted in our state-of-the-art winery atop Mount Cotton, the Sirromet collection showcases contemporary varietal favourites including NV Sparkling, Sweet Bubbly Rosé, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon, perfect for everyday enjoyment.
Selected varietals are also available in convenient 187ml and 200ml sizes, perfect for enjoying outdoors, events or gifting.
Signature Collection
Bearing the signature of Sirromet’s founder Terry Morris, the Signature Collection range utilises premium quality fruit sourced from Sirromet’s Seven Scenes vineyard located in Queensland’s renowned Granite Belt region, delivering a range of wines rare in regional character and distinction.
Le Sauvage
The award-winning Le Sauvage range of wines are hand crafted utilizing wild yeast. Our 2013 Le Sauvage Chardonnay is currently rated #1 white wine (#3 in all wines) and our 2013 Le Sauvage Shiraz Viognier is ranked #5 in Tasting Book’s Best Wine in the World competition for 2017.
Private Collection
The Private Collection range showcases Sirromet’s most prestigious wines. Made from only the best parcels of carefully nurtured fruit from our Granite Belt vineyards, each varietal is a benchmark of outstanding quality and style.
