COLOUR: Deep plum red with hints of violet.
CELLARING: Now - 2025
NOSE: Intense cassis and black plum with rich chocolate and touches of licorice, subtle spice and floral lift.
PALATE: Elegant and complex palate with soft berry fruits, plum, currants and spicy mocha notes. Soft integrated tannins and supporting charry oak provide excellent structure, while a refined line of acidity ensures length of flavour and texture on the back palate.
WINEMAKING COMMENTS: Continuing the story that began back in 2008, when owner Mr Terry Morris asked me to create an elegant, super-premium Cabernet blend to honour his wife – “LM” being for Lurleen Morris. This is the third release of this wine, now a Sirromet flagship. Only the best parcels of fruit and hand-selected barrels are used to create this exciting wine, which will reward carefully cellaring for 15+ years.
