Description

The Pinot Parcel is here & ready for you to enjoy. This exclusive pack includes four Pinot Noir clones that are notable in Australia - MV6, 115, 777 & Mariafeld.

Each pack is delivered in kraft gift box with tasting notes, suggested food & information on each clone, so you can delve a little deeper & become an expert on Pinot Noir.

What is a clone, you may ask? A cutting is taken from an existing grape vine that is grafted onto existing rootstock, or planted directly into the ground as a new vine. Successful clones are transplanted to new vineyards and they are given names to identify them.

What's the deal with Pinot Noir? This is a variety that is fussy, difficult to grow successfully and naturally produces a lot of mutations between vines. Because Pinot Noir can produce outstanding wines that command high prices, it's vitally important to make sure the clones selected are suitable for the site. There are now around 1000 different Pinot Noir clones that have been documented and named.
